Dr. Hiestand

Dr. David Hiestand has been an aviation medical examiner since 2012.  His background and training are in internal medicine, pediatrics, pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine, and sleep medicine.  He currently holds a private pilot certificate but spent most of his adult life as a student pilot.  He has worked in both private practice and academic medicine.  He performs aviation medical examinations, ECGs, and consultations by appointment at his office, located at 108 Browns Lane in Louisville, Ky.
